Games fulfilled from Europe are shipping now

Hi Spicifiers!

the games that are going to be fulfilled from the fulfillment center located in Europe are going to be shipped to their final destination (i.e. where you want them to arrive!) in the next days. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. 

If you are in the list of the backers whose games will be fulfilled from Europe you should have received an email at the address you provided in the Backerkit Survey. Expect to receive the game probabily late next week if you live in an European Country, maybe a bit more for UK. If you live outside Europe (not in North America though) you will have to be patient for a bit longer, but I do hope it won't take more than 3 weeks in the worst case possible.

We are also finalizing the shipment details for the bulk ship of the games that will be fulfilled from North America. Even if way more expensive we opted for a delivery by air, we would like to try and deliver your game as soon as possible and by sea it would have taken too long. 

We are crossing fingers everything is fine with the documentation produced by both the manufacturer and the freight forwarder/customs broker.

European copies shipping soon

Hello Spicifiers!

We have almost completed the shipping of the Italian copies to Italian backers. We had some delays for the European ones but those are finally at the fulfillment center and thus we will lock orders, charge cards from Backerkit and start shipping very soon. If you need to make any adjustment to your survey please do them within tomorrow. We will lock orders and start shipping within the beginning of next week.

We are trying to squeeze in also the orders to countries not in North America. We are also working, and hopefully in the final phase, of preparation of the documents for the shipment to US. We trust our shipping partner and manufacturer but it is a delicate phase which took way over than expected.

We will keep you updated as usual when there are any news.

Sending Backerkit Surveys! - Stiamo inviando i sondaggi Backerkit

Hello everyone!

We have sent the "Smoke Test" and we are now moving to sending the reminder of the surveys to all of the backers. 

You will receive from Backerkit an email to address provided on Kickstarter.

From the email you will be directed to a form where you can select your reward tier (the one you have backed), what language you want for each of your copies of Spicify, if you want to add more at the same price per copy you paid when backing the project and most importantly your address info.

The shipping cost will be calculated depending on the tier level, the amount of games added and the shipping region. We did our best to make the price fair for you and not too heavy on us. 

Ideally, we would like to receive all the surveys as soon as possible but don't worry, since we have already produced the game and we know roughly where they are going, we will send the copies to the fulfillment centers regardless of the result of the survey. As soon as the games will arrive to the fulfillment center designated for your shipping address they will ship the game. It may take a bit before the games arrive to the fulfillment center. Do not expect to receive the game any sooner than two weeks from now, except for Italian backers who will be covered directly by us.

Abbiamo inviato il cosiddetto "Smoke Test" e adesso procederemo con inviare il sondaggio a tutti i sostenitori. 

Riceverete da Backerkit un'email all'indirizzo fornito su Kickstarter.

Dall'email che riceverete verrete indirizzati su un questionario dove potrete indicare la vostra ricompensa (quella promessa con il livello di supporto che ci avete dato), in che lingua volete ogni confezione di Spicify , se volete aggiungere delle copie allo stesso prezzo per copia che avete pagato su Kickstarter e soprattutto le vostre informazioni per la spedizione.

Il costo di spedizione sarà calcolato a seconda del livello della ricompensa, il numero di giochi aggiunti e l'area geografica in cui verranno spediti. Abbiamo fatto il possibile per rendere il prezzo il più onesto possibile per voi senza rimetterci troppo da parte nostra. 

Idealmente, vorremmo ricevere tutte le risposte nel più breve tempo possibile ma non preoccupatevi, visto che abbiamo già prodotto i giochi e più o meno sappiamo dove sono diretti, invieremo le copie ai fulfillment center a prescindere da cosa viene indicato nei questionari (circa 500 copie in US e circa 500 copie in Europa). 

Appena i giochi saranno arrivati al fulfillment center designato per la vostra area geografica verranno spediti all'indirizzo che ci fornirete. Potrebbe volerci un po' prima che i giochi arrivino ai fulfillment center. Non aspettatevi quindi di ricevere il gioco prima di un paio di settimane da ora, questo non vale solo per chi vuole ricevere il gioco in Italia, in tal caso la spedizione la facciamo noi direttamente, probabilmente vi arriverà entro due settimane.

Get ready for Backerkit Survey - Preparatevi al sondaggio su Backerkit

After a long search for Fulfillment centers that could allow us to keep the shipping price low for the many backers spread all around the World, we finally found a couple with similar prices that allowed us to freeze the tariffs and prepare the survey to send to you all. We are likely going to spend more than we ask in 80% of the cases, we really tried to go the extra mile, the current situation for shipping is not helping at all.

The Backerkit survey has been sent for review and in a couple of days, if everything is fine we will launch what they call the "smoke test", basically 5% of the surveys will be sent to random backers and if everything goes smooth we can then launch the rest. 

In the survey you can do mainly four things: 

- Pick the language you want (English or Italian) for each copy you ordered

- Set the shipping address and details (so we know exactly where to ship through the fulfillment center)

- Order more copies of the game at the same price you paid depending on your pledge level (last chance to purchase the game at this price)

- Finalize the order pay for shipping and additional copies if added to the cart.

It is a process very similar to buying anything from an e-commerce, but if you are lost, make sure to send us a message or write to backerkit for help, they can help you in case we can't. 

When can you expect to receive Spicify? It depends on where you are, those who ordered italian copies from Italy will likely receive it sooner, it’s not a preference, simply we are able to fulfill them directly on our own at a decent price for shipping, so there will be less steps to follow from the manufacturer to the backer. 

Next will likely be those in English ordered from Europe and lastly those going to the US and the rest of the world, unless we find a very good price for shipping those to the fulfillment center by air, then the timing will be almost the same for both.

We set a very challenging deadline for shipping the games, less than 4 months from the end of the campaign to delivery is something very unusual for Kickstarter, we are trying our best to hit the target or miss by the smallest amount possible :)

Dopo una lunga ricerca tra Fulfillment center che potessero permetterci di mantenere dei prezzi di spedizione medi bassi per i sostenitori provenienti da tutto il mondo abbiamo finalmente trovato un paio di candidati con prezzi simili, così da poter bloccare il costo di spedizione nel sondaggio che vi invieremo a breve. Probabilmente spenderemo più di quanto raccoglieremo per la spedizione nell’80% dei casi, abbiamo voluto provare a fare un ultimo sforzo, considerando anche la situazione prezzi delle spedizioni che in questo momento non aiuta.

Il sondaggio di Backerkit che riceverete a breve è stato mandato in revisione e in un paio di giorni ci dovrebbero far sapere se è tutto in regola. A quel punto procederemo con il cosìddetto “Smoke Test” che prevede in pratica l’invio del sondaggio al 5% dei sostenitori, in modo casuale, così da raccogliere i feedback ed eventualmente correggere il tiro qualora ci fossero delle difficoltà. Terminata questa fase manderemo il sondaggio al rimanente 95%.

Nel sondaggio potrete indicare prevalentemente quattro cose:

- Scegliere la lingua in cui volete ricevere il gioco per ogni confezione che vi spetta in base alla livello di ricompensa scelto

- Impostare l’indirizzo a cui volete ricevere il gioco (così sappiamo esattamente da dove spedirlo e a chi spedirlo)

- Ordinare copie ulteriori del gioco ancora al prezzo per confezione sostenuto durante la campagna Kickstarter (e sarà l’ultima occasione per prendere delle copie a quel prezzo!)

- Finalizzare l’ordine e pagare le spese di spedizione ed eventualmente i giochi aggiuntivi ordinati

Il processo non è molto diverso da effettuare un ordine su un qualsiasi negozio online, se avete però delle domande, chiedete pure a noi o al supporto di Backerkit, sicuramente possono aiutarvi qualora non fossimo in grado di farlo noi.

Quando potete ragionevolmente ricevere Spicify? Dipende da dove siete, coloro che hanno ordinato il gioco in Italiano dall’Italia saranno probabilmente i primi a riceverlo, non è una questione di preferenza quanto di semplicità e minore numero di passaggi, visto che spediremo i pacchetti personalmente. Per chi volesse c’è anche la possibilità di consegna a mano per le copie in Italiano (se vi trovate a Modena o Firenze)

Successivamente dovrebbero arrivare quelli ordinati dall’Europa, infine quelli ordinati dagli Stati Uniti e resto del mondo, a meno che non troviamo dei prezzi di spedizione verso il fulfillment center americano molto convenienti anche per via aerea. In tal caso i tempi saranno circa gli stessi.

Ci siamo imposti una deadline molto sfidante per la consegna, solo 4 mesi dal termine della campagna sono veramente rari da vedere su Kickstarter e ce la stiamo mettendo tutta per centrare il bersaglio o al limite mancarlo di poco :)

Hello Spicifiers!

I am very happy to share with you this update. The cards are produced and look great! Now we just sent the approval for the assembly of the game boxes. I will let you know when this step is completed.

We are finalizing the short-list of fulfillment centers for the delivery of the games to your home. The Backerkit survey is basically ready but we want to make an extra effort to try and get the lowest price for each destination the games will have to go.

Sono molto felice di condividere con voi questo aggiornamento. Le carte sono state prodotte e sono proprio belle! Adesso abbiamo inviato l'approvazione per l'assemblaggio delle confezioni. Vi farò sapere appena questa fase sarà completata. 

Stiamo finalizzando la lista delle aziende da incaricare per il fulfillment dei giochi a casa vostra. Il questionario da inviare tramite Backerkit è praticamente pronto ma stiamo cercando di fare l'ultimo sforzo per trovare delle soluzioni che mantengano il prezzo di consegna per ogni destinazione il più basso possibile.
