Production update!

Hello Spicifiers!
it took a bit more than expected to complete the design phase. We had to go back and forth with the design between us and the manufacturer to adjust some minor details and this delayed the end of the process by a couple of weeks. We have entered now the production phase, i.e. no more changes on the design. The production itself is now planned by the manufacturer for the week October 24th-30th. This means that for European players, the game is likely to be shipped by the fulfillment center on the second week of November, for US and rest for the World backers, since the shipping time to the fulfillment center may take longer, I would say there will be at least 3 more weeks to wait. Our goal is to get the game into your hands as soon as possible..
We are now focused on getting the best fulfillment both quality and price-wise. Once we make the final choice of fulfillment centers (we are still deciding for non-US nor Italian backers) we will send out the survey from Backerkit.

c'è voluto un po' più del previsto per completare la fase di design. Abbiamo dovuto effettuare alcune piccole modifiche nelle varie revisioni con il produttore e questo ha comportato un paio di settimane di ritardo. Siamo adesso nella fase di produzione, in cui non si possono più fare modifiche al design. La produzione è pianificata per la settimana dal 24 al 30 di Ottobre. Questo vuol dire che per chi desidera ricevere il prodotto in Europa è probabile che riusciremo a spedirlo dal centro di distribuzione entro la seconda settimana di Novembre, per chi invece lo ha ordinato dagli Stati Uniti o altre parti del mondo ci vorrà un po' più di tempo, dovendo i giochi essere spediti prima al fulfillment center che si occuperà dell'invio alla destinazione finale. Direi che ci vorranno almeno tre settimane in più, in ogni caso il nostro obiettivo è quello di consegnarvi il gioco nel più breve tempo possibile.
Adesso siamo focalizzati sul trovare la migliore soluzione possibile per quanto riguarda il fulfillment, sia in termini di qualità che di prezzo, stiamo infatti ancora decidendo per quanto riguarda quello per i sostenitori non US o Italiani. Appena avremo definito questa parte vi invieremo la survey di Backerkit da compilare per definire tutti i dettagli della spedizione.

Update on Production - Aggiornamento sulla produzione

Hello Spicifiers!
All the materials (box and cards) are basically ready. We are waiting for FSC certification to put the logo on the box and the two EAN 13 codes that we need if we want to distribute the game in retail stores and some online shops in the future, something that we want to do.
We confirmed our order to the manufacturer 1000 copies in English and 1000 copies in Italian. The only issue we are having is that before going into actual production we need to confirm the PDF files that will be ready only when both the FSC logo and EAN codes are put on the box of the Italian and English version. This is likely to happen in the first days of September, which means we are about one week late on schedule.
We wanted to prioritize this over the Backerkit Survey since once the game are on their way to production there will be a 6-8 weeks window for them to be actually made, and this time will be handy to get more offers from shipping companies and fulfillment centers for remote areas.
We will keep updating you regularly when we have updates.

Tutti i materiali (confezione e carte) sono praticamente pronti. Stiamo aspettando che il gioco venga certificato FSC per apporre il logo sulle confezioni e i codici EAN 13 che ci serviranno in futuro per distribuire il gioco anche in negozi fisici e alcuni negozi online.
Abbiamo confermato l'ordine al produttore per 1000 copie in Inglese e 1000 copie in Italiano. L'unico problema è che prima di andare effettivamente in produzione dobbiamo confermare i file PDF definitivi, che saranno pronti solo dopo che avranno generato i codici EAN e i loghi FSC per le confezioni in Italiano ed in Inglese. Questo dovrebbe accadere nei primi giorni di Settembre, quindi siamo una settimana in ritardo rispetto alla tabella di marcia.
Abbiamo preferito dare priorità a questi aspetti piuttosto che alla survey di Backerkit visto che una volta che i giochi saranno in produzione serviranno circa 6-8 settimane prima che siano pronti. Questo tempo lo possiamo sfruttare per ricevere offerte migliori da spedizionieri e centri di distribuzione, soprattutto per le aree remote.

Update on manufacturing! - Aggiornamento sulla produzione

Hi everyone!
In the meantime that we were waiting for Kickstarter funds to arrive (they still haven't yet) we worked on the files of the single components and they are mostly ready to be sent to the manufacturer for review. There are only some minor changes / additions that we may have to make to the boxes of the game but we are almost there.
Our plan is to send the order for the boxes as soon as possible, ideally before August 19th.
On the survey side for shipping details we are waiting to get updated quotes from the shipping companies. For most of the backers (those from US and EU) the price is about as expected but we are trying to get good offers also for those in more remote regions and that's why we haven't released a survey yet.
We will update you all again as soon as we have news, in the meantime, enjoy your summer :)!

Mentre eravamo in attesa dell'arrivo dei fondi raccolti tramite Kickstarter (sì, devono ancora arrivare) abbiamo lavorato sui file dei singoli componenti del gioco e sono quasi pronti per essere mandati al produttore per una revisione.
Ci sono solo alcune piccole modifiche / aggiunte per le scatole del gioco ma ci siamo quasi.
Il nostro piano è quello di mandare l'ordine per la produzione il prima possibile, idealmente prima del 19 Agosto.
Stiamo prendendo tempo per quanto riguarda il sondaggio in cui raccogliere i dati della spedizione per ricevere delle quotazioni aggiornate dai vari centri di distribuzione e spedizionieri. Per buona parte dei sostenitori (EU e US) abbiamo degli importi in linea con quelli attesi, stiamo cercando delle buone soluzioni anche per coloro che ci hanno sostenuto da regioni più remote.
Vi aggiorneremo non appena avremo novità, nel frattempo, godetevi l'estate :)!
Good news, we have green-light for the design of the cards

Hello everyone!
We just received a positive feedback from the manufacturer regarding the file with the fronts of the cards in the English version that we submitted for review. This means we can now work on the fronts of the Italian version and the backs of both. Then we will finalize also the files with the design of the boxes for both languages and ask for a final review.
This will take approximately 10 days of work. In the meantime we have been working on the survey and the pre-order shop on Backerkit that will allow those who haven't supported the game on Kickstarter to pre-order their copies (the price is a bit higher). We will update you on these as well soon.

Abbiamo appena ricevuto un riscontro positivo dal produttore riguardo i file che contengono il design dei fronte delle carte in Inglese, che abbiamo mandato in revisione qualche giorno fa. Questo vuol dire che possiamo iniziare a lavorare anche sui fronte delle carte in Italiano e sui retro delle carte in entrambe le lingue. Poi passeremo alla finalizzazione del design delle scatole, in entrambe le lingue e richiederemo una revisione finale per poter procedere con l'ordine.
Per fare questo ci vorranno circa 10 giorni di lavoro. Nel frattempo abbiamo impostato il sondaggio e la pagina di prenotazione del gioco su Backerkit per chi ha perso l'occasione di sostenere il progetto durante la campagna Kickstarter (avranno un prezzo leggermente più alto rispetto a quello sostenuto da chi ha supportato il progetto). Vi aggiorneremo a breve anche su questi aspetti

Thank you for making our project a reality! A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.
Here's a quick rundown:
- First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards (this can take up to two weeks). We already sent the first draft of the final design for the front of the cards to our manufacturer, we are waiting for a green light to proceed with the reminder of the files.
- Second, we have to finalize your pledge, so we know how many games you wish to order (you can add more copies to your order through the pledge manager) and where we need to ship them. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information.
We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)
If you prefer, you can contact us directly and give us your information, but answering your survey help us get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.

Grazie per aver reso possibile il nostro progetto! Ecco alcune cose che dovremo fare prima di partire con la produzione e la consegna dei giochi.
- Prima di tutto Kickstarter deve trasferire i fondi, così da darci una mano con i costi di produzione e procedere con l’ordine dei pacchetti al produttore (ci possono volere circa un paio di settimane). Abbiamo già inviato al team di designer del produttore il file contenente tutti i fronte delle carte in inglese. Appena ci daranno un feedback in merito procederemo a correggere eventuali errori e completare l’opera con tutti i retro, i fronte in italiano e la confezione.
- Dobbiamo raccogliere da voi i dati riguardo quanti giochi volete (è possibile aggiungerne alcuni tramite il pledge manager) e dove volete che vengano spediti. Per fare questo manderemo tramite Backerkit un sondaggio che ci aiuterà a raccogliere queste informazioni.
Vi avviseremo con un aggiornamento prima di mandarvi il sondaggio. Così da essere sicuri di non perdere la mail in cui sarà contenuto il link. È importante rispondere al sondaggio nel minor tempo possibile perché senza il completamento dei sondaggi da parte di tutti i sostenitori si rischia di creare dei ritardi nelle consegne di tutti i pacchetti, non solo i vostri.
Se dopo aver compilato il sondaggio volete modificare delle risposte, aggiungere altri pacchetti all’ordine o aggiornare l’indirizzo di spedizione potete farlo direttamente dal solito link da cui accederete al sondaggio la prima volta. Se non trovate più la mail potete richiedere il link cliccando su “Lost your survey?” nella pagina di Spicify su Backerkit (questa pagina sarà attiva solo dopo che avremo mandato i sondaggi, quindi vi manderemo un link a tempo debito).
Se preferite contattare noi direttamente per fornirci le informazioni potete farlo, ma rispondere al sondaggio è in assoluto il modo migliore per gestire tutti gli ordini e non creare confusione automatizzando il processo.
